C.I.T.

The Counselor in Training program at The Atlantic Club provides campers entering 7th, 8th and 9th grade the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a variety of different activities offered through the camp. CIT’s will be placed into a summer camp group and given the opportunity to work alongside one of the counselors. The Summer Camp Counselor will act as a mentor for the CIT’s and guide them in learning and assisting in the daily activities of camp. Some of these activities include organizing games for younger campers, helping to facilitate camp wide activities and serving as role models for the younger campers.

Expectations:
As the oldest campers in summer camp, the number one expectation for the CIT campers is to serve as a role model for the younger campers. They are expected to listen to both their own counselors as well as the counselor that they are partnered with throughout the session. The campers are expected to obey the rules set forth by both The Atlantic Club Summer Camp and CIT Program. Please no cell phones in camp.

This program runs weekly Monday-Friday and space is limited.
